Ailene Beckman

   LEIPSIC - Ailene Beckman, 81, of Leipsic died at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at The Meadows of Leipsic. She was born March 21, 1935 in Salyersville, KY to the late Elisha and Fannie (Bailey) Mullins. On September 30, 1968 she married Kenneth Beckman and he survives in Leipsic.

   Also surviving are three sisters: Stella Helton of Alger, Sadie Conley of Worton, and Suzie (Jim) Stewart of Mt. Victory; a brother-in-law: Tom Drake of Kenton; a sister-in-law: Gladys Mullins of South Whitley, IN; many nieces and nephews; and four godsons. She was also preceded in death by three sisters: Nancy (George) England, Rosie Mullins, and Ella Drake; a half-brother: Willy (Betty) Mullins; four brothers: James (Arizonie) Mullins, Dennis (Curtis) Mullins, Sammy (Odie) Mullins, and Cleadis Mullins; and two brothers-in-law: George Helton and Rodney Conley.

   Ailene was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic.

   A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Fr. William Pifher officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday all at the funeral home where there will be a scripture service at 4 p.m. on Friday.
