I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Uncle Donny. What a wonderful man he was. I will never forget riding horses bareback in his fields when I was growing up and planting tomatoes for him. He was a sweet Godfather to me and I know you all will miss him terribly.My sympathies to the entire Recker family.

Over the last several years we got to know Mr. Recker a little bit. Each year he would donate half a beef to feed the hungry here in Lima. I quiet humble man. Earlier this year our new cook was able to open him up a bit. Insisting he stay for a meal she fixed him a plate and he sat with two of our former board members who were volunteering that day. He didn't want any fanfare or special recognition. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. And we thank God for such a kind and caring man.
