OTTAWA - Doris (Kersh) Orinin, 86, of Ottawa died 12:15 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2016 at The Meadows of Ottawa.
Doris was born March 5, 1930 in New Cleveland to the late John and Emma (Schroeder) Lammers.
Doris is survived by her five children: Bonnie Ruhe of Ottawa, Russ (Ann Beth Heringhaus) Kersh of New Albany, Tim (Dawn) Kersh of Glandorf, James Kersh of Ottawa, and Steve (Jodi) Kersh of Kent; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and her twin sister: Dolly Gorney of Toledo. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law: Denny Ruhe; and siblings: Margaret Schroeder, Nettie Brysocker, Rose Honigford, Agnes Geckle, Ben Lammers, Urban Lammers, Victor Lammers, and Norman Lammers.
Doris had worked as a waitress for the former Black Angus, Kalida. She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa. She was an avid card player.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2016 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 3 to 7 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
