Other survivors include six children: Cheryl (Barry) Kitson of Westerville, Dale (Marilyn) Calvelage and Denny (Karen) Calvelage both of Ottoville, Nancy Calvelage of Huber Heights, Alan (Denise) Calvelage of Ottoville and Teresa (Terry) VanGrootheest of Delphos; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; two special nephews: Gary Siefker and Kevin Siefker both of Arizona.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Adolph Remlinger, Wilbur Remlinger and Andrew Remlinger; twin siblings: Carl Remlinger and Carletta Siefker; a sister, Martha James; and a special nephew, Dean Siefker.

Edie was a wife, homemaker and worked side by side with her husband on the family farm.  She had also worked at the Lima Tank Plant, St. Mary’s Packing and Aeroquip.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, Ft. Jennings Catholic Ladies of Columbia, Delphos Eagles Auxiliary and Ft.
