Eileen P. Kindle        

  OTTAWA – Eileen P. Kindle, 85, of Ottawa died peacefully 5:15 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at The Meadows of Ottawa.  She was born October 23, 1932 in Glandorf, to the late Leonard and Teresa (Schroeder) Schroeder.  On March 16, 1952, she married Richard Kindle who died September 28, 2007.

   Eileen is survived by six children: Keith (Olga) Kindle of Continental, Kathleen (Henry) Weiss of Arlington, VA, Kenneth (Pamela) Kindle of Clarksville, TN, Karl (Victoria) Kindle of Red Boiling Spring, TN, Karen (Steven) Frey of Lacassis, TN and Kyle (Dena) Kindle of Ottawa; 24 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marilyn Leopold of Kalida.     

  She is also preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law: Kevin and Lisa Kindle; an infant daughter, Eileen Kindle and brother-in-law, William Leopold.

   Eileen was a homemaker.  She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, its Altar Rosary Society and Catholic Ladies of Columbia.  She loved church, her faith, babies, music, playing the piano and her property the “Sugar Camp”.  Her 1950 Glandorf High School class was a very large part of her life.

   A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa, where there will be a scripture service at 1:45 p.m. and a CL of C and Parish Rosary at 7:30 p.m.

   Memorial donations may be given to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
