To the family and friends,
I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one.
When Jesus was on earth, he brought his friend Lazarus back to life, who was dead for four days! Before Jesus resurrected Lazarus he spoke to Martha, Lazarus' sister as recorded at John 11:21-27 :
" Martha then said to Jesus: 'Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. Yet even now I know that whatever you ask God for, God will give you.' Jesus said to her: 'Your brother will rise.' Martha said to him: 'I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.' Jesus said to her: 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life; and everyone who is living and exercises faith in me will never die at all. Do you believe this?' She said to him: 'Yes, Lord, I have believed that you are the Christ, the Son of God, the one coming into the world.' "
Yes, Jesus has the power from God to bring our loved ones back to life!
In the mean time we need comfort from God as it says in 2Corinthians 1:3, 4: "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." If you would like free Bible studies to bring you comfort you can ask any one of Jehovah's Witnesses to make arrangements.

Gary, I'm gonna miss ya sittin' in your truck down at Froghead by the river. Dixie will miss you too. She likes running along the river and sniffing all the different smells. I think a snake or a turtle spooked her one afternoon. She was right at waters edge and jumped like something tried to bite her nose. It was gone by the time I got there. Going to miss just shootin' the breeze with you. Can't wait to see you again my friend.
