OTTAWA - Henrietta A. Wischmeyer, 89, of Ottawa, died 11:35 p.m., Friday, November 24, 2017 at The Meadows of Ottawa. She was born October 7, 1928 in Cloverdale to the late Charles H. and Clara E. (Meyer) Brinkman. On June 14, 1958 she married Harold F. "Blackie" Wischmeyer. He died June 17, 2003.
Survivors include two sons: Jeffrey Wischmeyer and Kevin (Lynn) Wischmeyer both of Ottawa; seven grandchildren: Shannon (Jay) Beckman, Derek (Amanda) Wischmeyer, Andrew Wischmeyer, Ben Wischmeyer, Beth Wischmeyer, Emily Wischmeyer and Clara Wischmeyer; a great-grandson, Peyton Beckman; and two sisters: Agnes Morman and Helen Wischmeyer both of Ottawa.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Walter Brinkman, Richard Brinkman and Melvin Brinkman; and four sisters: Marcella Schmidt, Viola Kuhlman, Florence Maenle and Magdalin Kruse.
Henrietta retired from Philips Display Component formerly of Ottawa in 1991. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Ottawa, its Altar Rosary Society Catholic Ladies of Columbia and Minister of Praise.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m., Monday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where a C L of C Rosary will begin 7:00 p.m. and a scripture service at 7:50 p.m.
Memorial donations may be given to Putnam County Hospice or to the Kidney Foundation.
