James R. Boden

   Gilboa -- James R. Boden, 58, of Gilboa died 6:30 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf. He was born September 23, 1957 in Napoleon to the late Paul Boden and Pauline (Clingerman) Boden, his mother survives in Ottawa.

    He is survived by a son: Paul Boden of Azle, TX; four siblings: Randy (Iva) Boden of Gilboa, Jerry (Leslie) Boden of Deshler, Deb (Tom) Schroeder of Leipsic, Betty (Chris) Dicke of Ottawa, and a girlfriend: Katie Dunifon of Lima.

   He was preceded in death by a brother Joe Boden.

    James worked as a driver for Edward Morris Family Trucking. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School.

    Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be military rites held by the Ottawa VFW, Ottawa Legion, and American Am Vets, at 6 p.m. outside the funeral home.
