JoAnn M. Niese

     Ottawa -- JoAnn M. Niese, 74 of Ottawa died 2:35 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Meadows of Ottawa.  She was born June 17, 1942 in Lima to the late George and Marie (Siefert) Nienberg.  On October 11, 1991 she married Joseph Niese, who survives in Ottawa.

     Also surviving are her brothers:  Ron (Mary) Nienberg of Continental, Gene (Norleen) Nienberg of Pandora and Dwayne Nienberg of Ottawa; and many nieces and nephews.

     JoAnn is preceded in death by 3 brothers:  Arthur Nienberg, Donald Nienberg and Richard Nienberg.

     She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and its Altar Rosary Society.  She retired from Ennis, Leipsic and had previously worked for Campbell's Soup.  JoAnn was a member of the Leipsic Eagles Ladies' Auxiliary.

  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Rick Friebel officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where a scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
