Kenneth H. Ellerbrock

   Glandorf -- Kenneth H. Ellerbrock, 76, of Glandorf, died 5:33 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Bridge Hospice Center, Findlay.  He was born December 11, 1939 in Glandorf to the late Albert and Henrietta (Elwer) Ellerbrock.   On August 12, 1961, he married Joan M. Maag who survives in Glandorf.

    He is survived by three children: Shelly (Max) Schroeder of Columbus Grove, Sheila (Brian Sebesta) of Huntley, IL, Todd (Angie) Ellerbrock of Deleware, OH; 5 grandchildren: Amanda (Paul) Crego, Derek (Monica) Schroeder, Blake Schroeder, Nathanael Ellerbrock, and Shayla Ellerbrock.

   He was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law: Helen and Richard Shultz.

   Ken was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, where he was a past lector and a member of its Holy Name Society. Ken was a 1958 graduate of Glandorf High School. He had worked 6 years as an Assembler-Welder at Nelson Mfg, Ottawa, 33 years at Shawnee Distribution in Lima as a Driver Salesman, and 14 years as Manager of the Ottawa Eagles until his retirement in 2011. In sports he loved the animals, being a Tiger, Lion, and Wolverine fan. Ken was a member of Ottawa Eagles 2234, Sons of the Legion, and House Guest VFW of Ottawa. He was a past Fireman, President of Rod and Gun Club, and a member of the Park Board all in Glandorf.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, from 2 to 8 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa and an hour prior to mass.

     Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Capital Campaign or the American Cancer Society.
