  Ottawa - Leonard W. Cramer, 82,  of Ottawa died 1:30 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2017 at the Meadows of Ottawa, he had been a long time  residence of the former Putnam Acres.  He was born July 4, 1935 in Findlay to the late Harry R. and Dorothy F. (La-Roche) Cramer.  On September 20, 1958, he married Mary Ann Closson who died June 19, 2004.

   Leonard is survived by a sister and two brothers: Sharon Smalley, Wayne Cramer and Gary (Belinda) Cramer all of Findlay; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.  He is also preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and Lowell Cramer; a sister: Rosalyn Musgrave; and a brother-in-law: Jon Smalley.

   Leonard was a material handler for Marathon Oil Company, Findlay and had also worked at Philips, formerly of Ottawa. As a teenager he was a pin setter for Riverside Park Bowling Alley. He was a 1954 graduate of Findlay High School and a U.S. Army veteran. He attended the Ottawa Missionary Church. Leonard was a caddy for the Findlay Country Club and won a $50 prize for caddying record, 284 rounds of golf. He was an avid golfer.  He always had a smile on his face and enjoyed visiting with his family.

   Graveside Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 14, 2017 in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa  with Rev. Marshall Metzger officiating. Burial will follow with military rites by the Ottawa American Legion, VFW, and AM VETS.   

    Leonard's family would like to give a special thanks to The Meadows of Ottawa for the care given to him.
