Margaret M. "Peg" Tripp

  MILLER CITY - Margaret M. "Peg" Tripp, 83, of Miller City died 8:42 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Blanchard Valley Regional Hospital, Findlay.  She was born January 31, 1933 in Gilboa to the late Herman and Lena (McCullough) Buckland.  On February 3, 1951, she married Maynard "Skip" Tripp and he died November 13, 1999.

  Survivors include seven children: Christine Boyak of Leipsic, Dawn Kuhlman of Findlay, Louann Stachowiak of Miller City, Mimi (Roger) Knueven of Miller City, Alan Tripp of Miller City, Leo (Lorrie) Tripp of West Chester and Terry (Nicole) Tripp of Miller City; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. 

  She was also preceded in death by an infant son; a son-in-law, Joseph Boyak; a daughter-in-law, Kristine Tripp; a grandson, Joseph L. Boyak; and a brother, David Taylor.

  Peg had worked at Campbell's Soup in Napoleon, Mack & Rita's in Miller City, the Beer Barrel in Ottawa and provided home care.  She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City and a former member of the Continental America Legion Auxiliary. 

  A funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa with Deacon Jim Rump.  Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service Saturday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Putnam Pet Pals.
