Michael E. Coble

    CONTINENTAL -- Michael E. Coble, 71 of Continental, died 2:23 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at Mercy Hospital, Defiance.  He was born February 16, 1946 to the late Carl E. and Anna Rose (Quigley) Coble.  On June 20, 1964 he married Janet Tracy, who survives in Continental.

   He is also survived by 5 children:  Kevin (Shelly) Coble of Cloverdale, Rodney (Natalie) Coble and Rex Coble, both of Defiance, Theresa (Burnell) Rau of Continental and Kathleen Coble of Kalida; 8 grandchildren:  Lindsey Miller, Benjamin (Becky) Miller, Jake Rau, Kelly Coble, Sarah (Brian) Donaldson, Stephanie Coble, Andrew Coble, and Alex Coble; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers:  Randall (Linda) Coble of Continental and Steven (Ruth) Coble of Ottawa; and 3 sisters:  Lila (Dave) Tobias of Continental, Lisa (Ken) Schroeder of Continental and Leslie (Tom) Taylor of Defiance.

    He is preceded in death by a sister: Linda Machunas.

    Michael was the former body shop manager of H & K Chevrolet Buick, Inc, Continental.  He was a member of North Creek United Methodist Church, Continental.  He enjoyed woodworking and golfing.  He loved his family and enjoyed attending his grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's many sporting events.  One of his famous quotes was, "and this is what I came up with." 

    The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at North Creek United Methodist with Rev. Rick Noggle officiating.  Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental.
