Mildred F (Niese) Bidlack

MILDRED F. BIDLACK

  West Leipsic -- Mildred F. Bidlack, 87, of West Leipsic, died at 10:10 a.m. Monday, September 28, 2015, at The Meadows of Ottawa. She was born November 16, 1927, in Miller City, to the late Louis and Florence (Siefer) Niese. On April 21, 1945, she married Donald L. Bidlack who died December 20, 2007.

   Mildred is survived by two children: Linda (Mike) Schulte and Mark (Kay) Bidlack, both of Ottawa; two siblings: Dolores Lammers of New Cleveland, Virgil F. (Margie) Niese of Leipsic; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and one more on the way. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Arthur (Mary) Niese, Harold (Coletta) Niese; one brother-in-law: Ronald Lammers; one granddaughter: Brenda Schulte; and one great-granddaughter: Emily Recker.

   She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic and the Sunshine Quilting Club. She was a homemaker and a secretary for her husband during his employment with Ashland Oil. Mildred enjoyed doing word searches, camping, gardening, polka dancing with her husband, spending time with her dog Zoe.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. Rick Friebel officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic, and one hour prior to mass at St. Mary's Parish Center.
