Norma R. Kemper

   OTTOVILLE – Norma R. Kemper, 82 of Ottoville died 8:29 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2017 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.  She was born November 16, 1934 to the late Norman and Agnes (Stiles) Johnson.  On September 27, 1958 she married Robert W. Myers, who died July 13, 1985.  She then married Arnold W. Kemper on April 24, 1987.  He survives in Ottoville.

   Norma is survived by 8 step-children:  Martha (Ed) Kuhbander of Ottawa, Wilma Ritchie of Pandora, Marjory Rockey of Lima, Ben (Jodie) Wueller of Ney, Joe (Diane) Wueller of Kalida, Millie (Rich) McElwain of Kalida, Leona Wueller of Kalida and Rita Wueller of Lima; a step-daughter-in-law:  Susan Wueller of Auburn, IN; 21 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

   She is preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law:  Eugene (Elaine) Johnson; a step-son:  Henry Wueller; a step-daughter-in-law:  Dee Wueller and a step-son-in-law:  Kenneth Ritchey.

   Norma joined the workforce in 1952 and was mostly in retail sales.  She was also a pastel portrait artist, rosary maker, a Third Order Carmelite.  She joined Avon in 1978 in Cincinnati and continued with Avon in Ottoville.  She was a member of Avon’s President’s Club.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville.  She was a member of the Rosary Altar Society and had been a Rosary leader for Immaculate Conception.

   Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 13, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Very Reverend Jerome Schetter and Father John Stites officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ottoville.  Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township where a scripture service will be held at 1:45 p.m. Sunday.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Window Restoration Fund or to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ottoville.
