Patrick A. Yohe

   OTTAWA - Patrick A. Yohe, 67, of Ottawa died at 9:44 a.m. Monday, December 25, 2017 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born August 2, 1950 to the late Lowell and Martha (Steinbaugh) Yohe. On February 1, 1991 he married Faye Bellman who survives in Ottawa.

   He is also survived by two daughters, Melissa (Carey) Lewis of Mentone, IN and Carrie Yohe of  Atwood, IN; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Yohe of South Whitley, IN; and a sister, Rebecca Brock of Ft. Wayne, IN. Patrick was also preceded in death by two sons, Matthew and Christopher Yohe.

   Patrick was a  retired general contractor.  He was an Army Veteran of Vietnam and a member of the Denver American Legion. He built the first Habitat for Humanity house in Ottawa and several Parade of Homes in Findlay. Patrick was "Mr. Dad" to his children growing up, had a very big heart and was always there to lend a helping hand or an ear for anyone in need. He loved Notre Dame football.

     Visitation will be Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa from 1 p.m. till 5 p.m.   

   Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or to Disabled American Veterans.
