Richard R. Gossman

  LEIPSIC – Richard R. Gossman, 93, of Leipsic, died 11:45 p.m., Monday, June 19, 2017 at Bridge Hospice in Findlay.  He was born May 12, 1924 in Geneva, to the late Albert and Verna (Arnold) Gossman.  On June 21, 1952, he married Helen W. Walker and she died in August 2005. 

  Survivors include two step sons: Chuck (Glenda) Bennett of Leipsic and Harry (Sandy) Bennett of Fostoria; four daughters: Linda (Gene) Goodman of Deshler, Georgia (Jim) Salisbury of Findlay, Janice (Ken) Siebeneck of Findlay and Becky (Jan) Schilperoot of Defiance; 26 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild. 

  He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Gordia Dean; and two brothers: Charles Gossman and Luther Gossman.

  Dick retired from Cooper Tire of Findlay.  He was a member of Leipsic United Methodist Church.  Dick enjoyed taking trips with his family and friends; but most of all loved playing Bingo. 

  Funeral service will begin 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 23, 2017 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Steve Weatherly officiating.  Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic.  Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.

  Memorial donations may be given to the Leipsic United Methodist Church or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
