Ruth Ann (Bockrath) Stechschulte

  GLANDORF - Ruth Ann (Bockrath) Stechschulte, 79, of Glandorf died 8:16 p.m., Saturday, October 14, 2017 at her residence.  She was born June 16, 1938, in Greensburg Township to the late Lawrence and Anna (Schierloh) Bockrath.  On July 9, 1960, she married Don Stechschulte and he survives in Glandorf. 

  Other survivors include four children: Beverly Stechschulte of Ottawa, Michael (Patricia) Stechschulte of Ottawa, Ann (Don) McDonald of Elida and Catherine (Patrick) Mahoney of Strongsville; eight grandchildren; a brother, Norbert (Rita) Bockrath of Greensburg Township; and a sister, Lucille Maag of Leipsic.

  She was also preceded in death by two brothers-in-law:  Bob Maag and Carl Stechschulte.

  Ruth was a homemaker and had worked at Warren Printing in Ottawa.  She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, its Altar Rosary Society, Catholic Ladies of Columbia, Precious Blood Companions and a Eucharistic Minister.  Ruth was a 1956 graduate of Glandorf High School and a member of the Glandorf Fire Ladies.

  A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where a CL of C service will begin at 7:30 p.m.  

  Memorial donations may be made to the Sts. Peter and Paul Endowment or to Putnam County Hospice.
