Stanley J. Haselman

   OTTAWA - Stanley J. Haselman, 65, of Ottawa died at 12:01 a.m. Monday, May 29, 2017 at Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf. He was born February 29, 1952 in Lima to the late Theodore and Hedwig (Lammers) Haselman. On October 4, 1975 he married Kathleen Mullett and she survives in Ottawa.

   Also surviving are four children, Melissa (Kevin) Ruhe and Bart (Sarah) Haselman both of Ottawa, Cory (Heather) Haselman of Glandorf, and Derek (Amanda) Haselman of Elida; twelve grandchildren, Zachary Ruhe, Natalie Ruhe, Brandon Ruhe, Annabelle Haselman, Cooper Haselman, Claire Haselman, Katelyn Haselman, Luke Haselman, Leann Haselman, Josie Haselman, Garrett Haselman, Olivia Haselman; three brothers, Ronald (Edna) Haselman of Leipsic, Dennis (Linda) Haselman of Swanton, and Larry (Grace) Haselman of Kalida; and two sisters, Marlene (Lavern) Verhoff of Kalida and Mary (Robert) Schroeder of Leipsic. He was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Dominic Haselman and an infant brother, Gary.

   Stan was a Financial Representative with Modern Woodmen of America Fraternal Organization and had worked at P & A Industries in Findlay for 22 years.  He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, the Ottawa Eagles, and the Ottawa Knights of Columbus. He loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends. He enjoyed gardening, camping, and restoring antiques.

   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Rick Friebel officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a K of C Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
