  OTTAWA - Steve C. Maas, 58, of Ottawa, died 7:24 p.m., Friday, October 13, 2017 at his residence.  He was born March 22, 1959 in Lima, to the late Donald and Julianna (Warnecke) Maas. 

  Survivors include two daughters: Elizabeth Maas of Toledo and Allison Maas of Ottawa; and four brothers: Terry (Shari) Maas of Glandorf, Joseph (Sandy) Maas of Columbus Grove, Kevin (Karen) Maas of Ottawa and Dennis (Pam) Maas of Ottawa.

  Steve was a technician for P&G of Lima for 20 years and was also an outdoorsman, woodworker and all around handyman.  He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and Ottawa Knights of Columbus.  Steve fought an eight month battle with cancer with his girls by his side, whom he loved dearly.

  A Mass of Christian burial will begin 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 16, 2017 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m., Sunday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where a K of C rosary will begin at 7:30 p.m.

  Memorial donations may be given to Putnam County Hospice.
