Thomas A. “T-bone” Laubenthal

    OTTAWA – Thomas A. “T-bone” Laubenthal, 62 of Ottawa died Friday, September 29, 2017 at the Meadows of Ottawa.  He was born December 1, 1954 in Lima to Walter and Alvera (Maag) Laubenthal.  His father is deceased and his mother survives in Ottawa.

   He is also survived by his siblings:  Lois Felkey of Ottawa, Karen Wentz of Findlay, Jeanie Laubenthal of Saline, MI, Jerry Laubenthal  and Michael Laubenthal, both of Ottawa; and his 8 nieces and nephews:  Sean Felkey, Shannon Felkey, Lisa Houck, Ryan Felkey, Luke Wentz, Kaite “Kat” Wentz, Jarrod Mahoney and Jenna Mahoney.

   T-bone is preceded in death by 2 brothers-in-law:  David Felkey and Randal Wentz and a nephew:  Jacob Mahoney.

   He retired as a truck driver for Bee-Line Trucking, Ottoville and had been a diesel mechanic.  He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and had been a member of the Moose Lodge, Fremont, IN.  T-bone loved to spend time at the lake and enjoyed his many friends there.

   Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 2, 2017 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.  Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
