GLANDORF -- Travis A. Schnipke, 38, died unexpectedly at 5:08 a.m. Sunday, November 12, 2017 St. Rita’s Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf.  He was born on October 1, 1979 in Lima to Daniel and Susan Schnipke, who survive in Glandorf.  On October 4, 2014 he married Alyssa Quinn and opened his heart to her daughter, Hannah.  In March of 2017 they welcomed baby Katelyn into their lives.  Travis loved his wife and daughters wholeheartedly, always focused on providing them with support, security, happiness and joy.

He is also survived by his sisters:  Mandy (Cris) Glenn, Kara (Ryan) Burgei and Shana (Travis) Duling, all of Glandorf; his paternal grandmother, Pauline Schnipke of Ottawa; nieces and nephews:  Nathan, Noah, Chloee, Alexa and Addyson Glenn, Carson, Cohen and Zayden Burgei, Alexander and Camille Duling and Olivia Quinn; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Rick and Linda Quinn of Glandorf and brothers-in-law:  Matt Quinn of Columbus and Ross (Jennifer) Quinn of Richland, NC.  He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Paul Schnipke; and maternal grandparents, Norm and Donna Recker.

Travis was a quality manager for Global Precision Parts, Ottoville.  He was a 1998 graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School and graduated with an associate’s degree from Owens Technical College, Findlay and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf.

Travis was a beloved son, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, grandson, uncle, cousin, spouse, father, and godfather.  Absolutely everything he did was carried out with overwhelming enthusiasm, dedication and pride.    He poured countless hours of inspirational and infectious energy into his hobbies, which included boating and camping with his family at Indian Lake; following sports; staying connected with childhood friends; diving into construction and engineering projects; caring for his bulldog, Brutus; enjoying comedy, movies and music; and watching Bob Clark’s “A Christmas Story” for hours on end during the holiday season.  He brought support and laughter everywhere he went, and will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
