  KALIDA – Ellie Rebecca Schimmoeller, stillborn at 8:23 a.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Blanchard Valley Medical Center, Findlay.  Ellie is the daughter of Derrick and Leah (Hunt) Schimmoeller, who survive in Kalida.

  She is also survived by her paternal grandparents: John and Jackie Schimmoeller of Kalida; maternal grandparents: Dave and Dora Hunt of Glandorf; great-grandparents:  Julitta Selhorst of Kalida, Jerry and Carolyn Schimmoeller of Ottoville, and Ron and Delores Nartker of Kalida; an uncle: Dylan Schimmoeller; and two aunts: Dayna Schimmoeller, and Lisa (Toby Duling) Hunt.

  Ellie is preceded in death by great-grandparents, Harold “Herk” Selhorst, and Daryl and Mary Jane Hunt.

  Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Randy Giesige officiating.  Burial will follow at the church cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
