I was so sorry to hear about Alan's passing.  I always enjoyed talking with him at school.  He was very conscientious and a very good instructor.

Jan,
Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of loss. I remember hearing stories of Alan's days of teaching and creating amazing things with wood. I am sure he is at peace now and looking down on all of you. You have a special angel in heaven!
