Amy Rebecca Snavley
KALIDA - Amy R. Snavley, 46, of Kalida died 1:44 a.m., Friday, May 18, 2018 at The Cleveland Clinic after two years of battling cancer. She was born September 2, 1971 in Lima to Jerome and Sharon (Brinkman) Schnipke, who survive in Miller City. On December 3, 1993 she married Steve Snavley, who survives in Kalida.
Survivors also include four children: Erica (Zach) Meyer of Pandora, Alex (Brianna) Snavley of Pandora, Richard Snavley of Ottawa, and Michael Snavley at home; one grandchild, James Snavley; four brothers: Matt (Jen) Schnipke of Ottoville, Paul (Kristen) Schnipke of Leipsic, Mark (Gina) Schnipke of Miller City, John (Chris Parish) Schnipke of Leipsic; one sister, Denise (Ray Nunez) Schroeder of Leipsic; and many nieces & nephews.
Amy was employed by The Meadows of Ottawa and was a favorite among the residents because of her kind nature and reassuring smile. She has cared for an immeasurable number of residents during her 28 years as a nurses aide.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 2-7 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with a memorial service at 7:00 p.m.
