Barbara "Barb" T. Laubenthal  

   OTTAWA - Barbara "Barb" T. Laubenthal, 71 of Ottawa, died 12:20 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2018 at The Meadows of Leipsic. She was born April 13, 1947 in Oneida, WI to the late Adrian and Waltera (Van Laarhoven) Vissers. On July 17, 1965 she married William Laubenthal who survives in Ottawa .

   Also surviving are two daughters, Charlene Boden of Elida and Vicki Laubenthal of Ottawa; two grandchildren, Jacob and Jessica Boden; a sister, Diane Platten of Crocker, MO; a sister-in-law, Carol Vissers of Oneida, WI; and a brother-in-law, Deane Solseng of Lexington, KY. She was also preceded in death by a brother, George Vissers; a sister, Juanita Solseng; and a brother-in-law, Jack Platten.

   Barb was a retired shift supervisor for Taco Bell in Ottawa and Defiance. She was a member of New Creation Lutheran Church, Ottawa where she was secretary of the Church Council and was on the board of the Ottawa Food Pantry.

   A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2018 at New Creation Church, Ottawa with Rev. Ken Pollitz officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the church.
