Brandon L. Johns
KALIDA - Brandon L. Johns, 34, of Kalida died 8:03 p.m. Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born January 19, 1984 in Lima to Todd and Lisa (Wicker) Johns. His father survives in Continental, his mother, now Lisa (Doug) Prater survives in Cridersville, his stepmother, Carolyn Johns survives in Ottoville. On August 27, 2016 he married Alyssa Morales and she survives in Kalida.
Also surviving are two children, Corbin Johns and Cameron Johns both at home; his maternal grandfather, Elmer Wicker of Cridersville; a brother, Clinton (Vickie) Johns of Dupont; a sister, Jamie (Robert) Taylor of Englewood; four step siblings, Christy Weber of Cloverdale, Melissa Weber of Dupont, Christina Prater-Hicks of Cridersville, and Christopher Weber of Dupont; his father and mother-in-law, Albert and Senovia "Sandy" Morales of Columbus Grove; in-laws, Tanya (Nicholas Bilbrey) Morales of Elida, Amanda (Travis) Mangas of Leipsic, Aaron Morales of Columbus Grove, Anson (Alyssa Gonzales) Morales of Paulding, and Ashly (Rick) Martin of Columbus Grove; and several nieces and nephews. Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Loretta Wicker; brother-in-law, Adrian Morales; and a niece, Scarlett Mangas.
Brandon was a Key Account Manager at Danby in Findlay. Brandon's motto was "no reason not to smile when you wake up each morning." He loved his boys and being with his family, especially the love of his life since 2005. They were known as the ABC2 family. Brandon was a friend to all, always helping others, even in his death he continues to help a vast amount of people through the gift of life by being a tissue/organ donor.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Pastor Terry Porter officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Columbus Grove. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Friday all at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
