Debra Cain-Longwell

   OAKWOOD -  Debra Cain-Longwell, 57, of Oakwood died at 8:37 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Van Wert In-patient Hospice. She was born August 14, 1960 in Columbia City, IN to Robert and Roberta (Baker) Hargrove. Her father is deceased, her mother survives in Ottawa.  On June 22, 2013 she married Jeff Longwell who survives in Oakwood.

     Also surviving are three children, Chad (Sarah) Cain of Delphos, Brandy (Jason) Sims of Crown Point, IN, and Charles (Debra) Cain; seven grandchildren, Kearah, Ethan, Audrina, Parker, Emmy, Piper, and Stella; four sisters, Penny Brinkman, Kim Hargrove, Anita Carr, and Michelle Garcia; and one brother, Robert Hargrove, Jr. She was also preceded in death by a son, William Carl Cain.

    Debra was a medical secretary for Defiance Regional Hospital. She retired in 2016. She attended First Church of Christ in Dupont. She adored and lived for her grandchildren and was a wonderful person who was deeply loved by her family and friends.

   Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2017 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Pastor Jim Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Sherman Cemetery, Charloe. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
