So sad to hear of Diane's passing..

Such fond memories from high school and years following until I moved from Ottawa.

Always remember her for her BIG smile. great laugh, huge heart and with the great courage and acceptance with which she later approached her MS.

My deep sympathy to the Drerup family.  I enjoyed visiting with Trots frequently when I worked at PACC.  Quite often, I would bring my daughter Mia into work with me and Trots would entertain her while I worked.  They were pretty evenly matched at wii tennis! And I certainly enjoyed her sense of humor!
I know you will all miss her deeply.
What a joy for Trots now to be rid of the chair, and to be able to stand and even run with the Lord! May God comfort you, Ruth and all of your family.
Love,
Kelly Schroeder

Sympathy to the family. I met Diane when I joined Putnam Acres as a nurse. She then lived in the apartments. She was a joy to know and visit. I brought my dog, Coco to visit her.  I was her 3rd shift Nurse at the end.  It is so sad and will take a long while to accept she is now in Heaven.  God Bless the family.  With Sincere Sympathy, Dorothy Christman.

My condolences for your loss. Trots was an inspiration to me. Her ability to deal with her illness and still find the level of pleasure that she seemed to take from her everyday life was always something to me. She always seemed to have a smile on her face and a welcome for everyone. She will be dearly missed.

I was surprised and saddened by the passing of my friend and classmate, Trots.
What memories we all have of her genuine smile and distinct laugh.
I had not visited her in quite awhile and so wish I had when I was in area.  She definitely was one of a kind and made me feel better after listening to her talk of 4 legged friends and express explanations of the photos in her room.  What a heart of gold!  She is in a better place now.

Our family would like to extend sincere sympathy to your entire family, including, the  nieces and nephews of whom she thought so much of. It was a pleasure spending time with Diane when I worked at PACC. We had many laughs and I truly enjoyed her friendship. I'll always remember the good times! Dear Drerups, So sorry to hear of your loss.  I enjoyed Trotsy during my very green years as being CYO coach for the SPPS team.  I was always able to enjoy visiting with her at the nursing home and am sorry to see that she has passed.
Jack and I are visiting in Colorado and will be unable to express our sympathies personally to all of you.

God bless!

My Mother Barb (Ellerbrock) Young spoke alot of "Trots"  while us kids were growing up. There were so many stories from back in their PC Pacers days and even after when they would get together for visits. They really seemed like the kind of friends that no matter how long time went between visits they. Could always pick right back up where they left off... I hope they are able  to laugh again about all of their great times together in heaven very soon. My Deepest Sympathies to you and your families!

We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to Trots' entire family.  I had a nice visit with her about two months ago.  She was her usual upbeat self so to say we were shocked is an understatement.  Know that she was a friend to all and that her nieces & nephews were her greatest source of pride!
