LEIPSIC - Donald J. Schroeder, 90, of Leipsic died at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013 at The Meadows of Leipsic.
   He was born September 10, 1922 in Leipsic to the late Leo and Gertrude (Scheckelhoff) Schroeder.  On June 17, 1953, he married Lenore Martin who died March 8, 2011.
   Survivors include five children: Terry (Kathy) Schroeder of Ottawa, Tony (Cheri) Schroeder of Hilliard, Brenda (Dennis) Inkrott of Monclova, Pat (Gwen) Schroeder of Leipsic, and Phil (Sarah) Schroeder of Hilliard; 15 grandchildren: Megan Brickner, John, Eric, Kyle, Tyler, Bruce, Beth, Kelly, Kaitlin, Elyse, Anne, and Emma Schroeder, Carrie, Amy and Ryan Inkrott; a great-grandchild: Carson Brickner; a brother: Steve (Caroline) Schroeder of Kansas; three sisters: Grace White of Centerville,       Genevieve (Steve) Paul of Grand Rapids, and Lou Ann (Jack) Borer of Florida; and 2 sisters-in-law: Delores Schroeder and Delores Blankemeyer; and a brother-in-law: John Brookman.
   He was preceded in death by two brothers: Homer and Clair Schroeder; four brothers-in-law: Joe White, William Hoffman, Tom Stechschulte, and Dan Blankemeyer; and four sisters-in-law: Janet Schroeder, Ethel Hoffman, Mildred Stechschulte, and Jeanne Brookman.
   Donald was a farmer.  He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic and it's Holy Name Society.  Don was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He loved spending time with his family.  He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed following the Reds and Buckeyes.
   Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Very Reverend Fr. George Wenzinger officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.   Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. till the time of the service Saturday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.
   Memorial contributions may be made to Right to Life or St. Mary's School.
