     CLOVERDALE – Dorothy B. Sanders, 93 of Cloverdale died 6:30 a.m. Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the Meadows of Kalida.  She was born February 7, 1924 in Lima to the late Mathias and Agnes (Schimmoeller) Hellman.  On July 10, 1948 she married Anthony F. Sanders, who preceded her in death.

     Dorothy is survived by her 7 children:  John (Donna) Sanders of Defiance, Bob Sanders of Cloverdale, Janice (Dan) Schimmoeller of Perrysburg, Larry (Judy) Sanders of Ottawa, Jim (Tammy) Sanders of Delphos, Diane (Bart) Baldauf of Fort Jennings and Mike (Julie) Sanders of Delphos; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a brother:  Albert Hellman of Florida.

     She is preceded in death by 5 siblings:  Leona Metzger, Joseph Hellman, Rita Beining, Thomas Hellman and Esther Grothaus a grandson:  Casey Baldauf.

     Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville.  She enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family.

     Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Very Reverend Jerome Schetter officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ottoville.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township where a scripture service will be held at 7:45 p.m.
