Edwin R. Good

  Continental - Edwin R. Good, 65, of Continental died 1:40 a.m., Monday, July 30, 2018 at Lima Memorial  Health System. He was born August 18, 1952 in Goshen, Indiana to the late Ira D. and MaryAnne (Slabach) Good.  On October 21, 1977, he married Velda Kirkendall who survives in Continental.

  Edwin is also survived by his children: Miriam (Eric) Landwehr of Mandale; Benjamin (Megan) Good of Chillicothe; Jeremy (Katherine) Good of Baltimore, Maryland, Samuel Good of South Bloomfield; Rebekah (Andrew) Sebastian of Huntington, Indiana; Matthew Good of Continental; 13 grandchildren:  Ivy Benroth, Jakob Landwehr, Ariel Landwehr, Brea Good, Zachariah Landwehr, Jonathon Landwehr, Phoebe Landwehr, Elijah Good, Annabel Good, Keziah Sebastian, Hannah Good, Hadassah Sebastian,  Lauren Good and two on the way;  seven siblings: Dorothy Cassidy of Pandora, John D. (Rosemary) Good of Bluffton, Naomi (Robert) Yoder of Hicksville, Fannie Ellen Flint of Bryan, Daniel (Rachel) Good of Thompson Falls, Montana, Ira B. (Debra) Good of Dupont and Paul (Michelle) Good of Oneida, Ky.  He is preceded in death by a brother, Weldon Good.

   He had worked in maintenance at the Ottawa Wal-Mart and formerly worked for Phillips and W.C. Woods.  Edwin was a member of Kalida Family Outreach Center.  He had a great passion to see others come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and love spending time with his family and his grandkids.

   A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m.  Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Free Christian Church of God, Continental, with Rev. Jim Swihart officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Dupont.  Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the FREE CHRISTIAN CHURCH  and one hour Saturday prior to the service.  Arrangements are being handled by Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental.

   Memorials may be given to the Gideon's or the charity of donor's choice.
