Frances "Fran" Ann Berger
  Leipsic - Frances "Fran" Ann Berger, 74, of Leipsic passed away 1:16 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.  She was born July 12, 1938 in Paulding County to the late Louis and Emma (Dotterer) Levy, Sr.  On March 29, 1961, she married Edwin "Ed" Berger.  He passed away January 14, 2013.
  Fran is survived by her children: Eric Berger of Middlebury, Indiana and Emily Berger of Findlay; 4 grandchildren: Annelise, Brennen, Hannah and Landon Berger; a sister: Cynthia (Gordon) Feasel of Lodi and a brother: Louis (Rene) Levy, Jr. of Paulding.
  Fran was a school teacher at Leipsic, Holgate, Hamler and Defiance Schools. She was a graduate of Paulding High School and Defiance College and while raising two small children she acquired a Master's Degree from the University of Saint Francis in Ft. Wayne, IN.  She was a member of the Faith Assembly of Believers in Ottawa, Leipsic Mother's Club, Leipsic Education Association Member, Putnam County Retired Teacher Association,  Putnam County District Library Board, Friends of Leipsic Library, and a life member of Ohio Retired Teachers Association.  Fran also taught Sunday School for many years and sang in the church choir.  She loved to garden.
   A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2013 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Larry Bibler officiating.  Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, Leipsic.  Visitation will be Saturday, April 13th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
  Memorials may be given to the Gideon's, Leipsic Library or Bridge Hospice.
