Garry D. Stennett

     FORT JENNINGS -- Garry D. Stennett, 64 of Fort Jennings died 4:12 a.m. Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Lima Memorial Health System.  He was born March 7, 1953 in Napoleon to Elijah and Bessie (Miller) Stennett.  His mother survives in Ottawa and his father is deceased.  On October 15, 1977 he married Diane Kleman, who survives in Fort Jennings.

     He is also survived by his 3 children:  Tonya (Nick) Verhoff of Columbus Grove, Jesse (Wendy) Stennett and Sarah (Austin) Schroeder both of Fort Jennings and 14 grandchildren. 

     Garry was a musician, and loved music and played all his life.  He played in the Rajun Kajun Band, the Buck Tanner Band, Three Stools in a Bar and most recently the Beer Barrel Boys.  He was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fort Jennings.

     Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Very Reverend Jerome Schetter officiating.  Burial will be held at a later date.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township.  There will be a scripture service at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
