Janice L. Rhees

  Oakwood - Janice L. Rhees, 77, of Oakwood, died 8:51 p.m. Monday,  November 5, 2018 at Lima Memorial Hospital.   She was born August 30, 1941 in Melrose to the late Ike and Florence (Cotterman) Stahl.  On March 25, 1959, she married Milo "Gale" Rhees, who survives in Oakwood.

   Janice is also survived by three children: Jeff (Lisa) Rhees of Defiance, Debbie Rhees and Rick (Sheila) Rhees both of Continental; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters and 3 brothers.  She is preceded in death by a brother and a great-granddaughter.

   Janice was a homemaker and a member of the Dupont Church of the Brethren in Dupont.

    A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood, with Revs. Terry Porter and Steve Heilshorn officiating.  Burial will follow in the Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Oakwood.   Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
