Jeffrey H. Frederick

   OAKWOOD – Jeffrey H. Frederick, 53, of Oakwood passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in Parkview North Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was born in Defiance, Ohio, February 21, 1964 to Gary and Judy (Horner) Frederick.

   He graduated from Paulding High School in 1982, from Northwest State in1984, and from San Diego State, California in 1987.

   He owned his own computer, accounting firm and worked for various contractors as controller in Ohio, Indiana, and Florida.

   He enjoyed living by the water, boating, skiing, and entertaining family and friends.

   Surviving are his parents, Gary and Judy Frederick of Oakwood, Ohio; his partner, Andrew Steffen of Appleton, Wisconsin; two brothers, Brad (Jennifer) Frederick and nephews, Samuel and Jackson of Northville, Michigan and Doug (Heather) Frederick and nieces, Maddie and Malorie of Clanton, Alabama; his dog, Lexie; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

   He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Mary Frederick, Bill and MaDonna Horner, and other family members.

        Funeral Services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Brady Feltz officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.

   He loved animals, so memorials are suggested to be given to the Defiance Humane Society.
