Larry J. Haselman
KALIDA - Larry J. Haselman, 70, of Kalida died Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at The Toledo Hospital. He was born May 15, 1948 in Lima to the late Theodore and Hedwig (Lammers) Haselman. On May 29, 1971 he married Grace Janka and she survives in Kalida.
Also surviving are four children, Jodi Crawford of Maumee, Tiffani (Travis) Hundley of Kalida, Heather (Shannon) Wilson of Lewis Center, and Brittani (Arizona) Carter of Perrysburg; eleven grandchildren, Mallory and Kamryn Crawford, Devon, Alayna, Aiden, and Ethan Hundley, Shane, Xander, and Benjamin Wilson, and Lily and Oliver Carter; two brothers, Ronald (Edna) Haselman of Leipsic and Dennis (Linda) Haselman of Swanton; two sisters, Marlene (Lavern) Verhoff of Kalida and Mary (Robert) Schroeder of Leipsic; and a sister-in-law, Kathy Haselman of Ottawa.
He was also preceded in death by twin daughters, Staci and Traci and two brothers, his infant twin, Gary Haselman and Stan Haselman.
Larry retired from Philips after 37 years and then retired from Wal-Mart in Findlay after 12 years. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida and it's Holy Name Society, and the Kalida Knights of Columbus. Larry enjoyed driving around on his golf cart but especially loved his grandchildren and watching their many activities.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Rick Friebel officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township where there will be a Scripture Service at 2:30 p.m.
