OTTAWA - Leah D. DuBry, 94, of Ottawa died at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at her residence.
She was born on December 7, 1923, in Toledo to the late Walter A. and Emma C. (Smith) Rollo. On July 15, 1944, she married Walter E. DuBry who died on June 16, 2009.
Survivors include five children: Neil (Jolene) DuBry of Dawsonville, GA, Cora (David) Reed of Washington Twp., MI, Brad (Betty) DuBry of Rockford, Martha (Joseph) Bellman of Findlay and Anne (Tom) Niese of Ottawa; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Allyn Rollo.
Leah was a homemaker and volunteered at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was past treasurer of St. Rita's Auxiliary where she volunteered for 30 years, past treasurer of the NW District of Hospital Auxiliaries, a Girl Scout leader for 14 years, and a 4-H leader for 2 years. Leah was a charter member and the oldest member of New Creation Lutheran Church, Ottawa.
A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at New Creation Lutheran Church, Ottawa with Rev. Ken Pollitz officiating. Burial will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Ottawa. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
