Lloyd J. Thomas

   LEIPSIC – Lloyd J. Thomas, 88, of Leipsic died at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Vancrest of Holgate. He was born December 28, 1929 in Hamler ot the late George Sylvester and Blanche Arvella (Searfoss) Thomas. On July 3, 1952 he married Ruby Wireman who died January 25, 2008.

   Surviving are 4 children, Polly Fackler of Cloverdale, Lloyd James Thomas of Leipsic, Flossie Leu of Holgate, and Rick (Belinda) Thomas of McComb; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by 2 daughters, Rita Fay Thomas and Vickie Just; 2 grandsons, Kenneth Fackler, Jr. and Angel Michael Thomas; 3 brothers; and 9 sisters.

   Lloyd retired from Campbell Soups in 1988.

   Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Ben Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Marion Township Cemetery, Hamler. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday all at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
