   OAKWOOD - Lonnie D. Budd, 59, of Oakwood died at 11:00 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Paulding County Hospital. He was born October 9, 1958 in Fostoria to the late Dane and Alice (Weber) Budd. On December 31, 1989 he married Rhonda Harris who survives in Oakwood.

   Also surviving are two children: Brandy Budd of Ft. Wayne and Rachel (Rob) Vance of Paulding; four grandchildren: Evan and Landin Spice and Hannah and Logan Vance; his mother-in-law, Betty (Terry Smith) Myers; a sister-in-law, Theresa Hibbard; a brother-in-law, Eric Myers; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and many hunting buddies and his fishing buddy, "2 dollar Tom". He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Gordon Harris.

   Lonnie retired from General Motors in 2006 after 30 plus years. He loved hunting turkey, deer and mushrooms and enjoyed mowing the yard.

   Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2017 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Pastor Ron Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Sherman Cemetery, Charloe. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.

   Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Shriner's.
