Marcus Andrew 'Cuey" Vonderembse

  Ottawa - Marcus Andrew "Cuey" Vonderembse, 25, of Ottawa died Sunday, September 3, 2017 at his residence.  He was born November 15, 1991 in Findlay to Terry and Sally (Slattman) Vonderembse.  His father survives in Delphos.  His mother, Sally and Mike Guilford survive in Ottawa.

   Marcus is also survived by three siblings: Leigh Ann (John Bayes) Vonderembse of Harrod, Janelle (Rolando Valle) Guilford of Ayersville and Jason Guilford of Sherwood; two grandmothers: Norma (Burgei) Vonderembse of Delphos and Shirley (Grunden) Guilford of Sherwood; nine nieces and nephews: Victoria, Serelle, Zoe, Austin, Jeremiah, Justino, Chase, Porter and Nolan and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins who loved him.  He is also preceded in death by grandparents: Gus and Lois (Tracy) Slattman, Harold Vonderembse, Roger Guilford and his aunt, Ida Ankney.

   Marcus loved playing football for O.G. Titans along with basketball, baseball, bowling and golf.  He was in love with nature and would go hunting or fishing. Marcus didn't know a stranger, he always had a smile and a hug for anyone who needed it whether they needed it or not.  He had a big heart and would lend a helping hand to anyone.  He loved his family and especially all of his nieces, nephews and cousins, and had a love for dogs and animals in general. He was a big Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Red's fan

   A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 8, 2017 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating.    Graveside services will be at a later date.  Visitation will be Thursday, 2 to 8 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.

   In lieu of flowers monetary donations may be given to help with funeral expenses.
