Marie Huff

    FORT JENNINGS – Marie Huff, 89, of Fort Jennings died 4:17 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2019 at her residence.  She was born December 2, 1929 in Tom’s Creek, VA to the late Garland and Augusta (Ring) Adkins.  On April 2, 1949 she married Donald L. Huff, who preceded her in death on February 26, 2010.

     Marie is survived by 6 children:  Donna (David) Hiltner of North Creek, Robert "Butch" (Teresa) Huff of Columbus Grove, Garland “Bambi” (Jennifer) Huff of Defiance, Ed (Kathy) Huff of Columbus Grove, Deb (Don) Hazelton of Continental and Tammy (Carl) Landwehr of Fort Jennings; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters:  Kitty (Dave) Brooks of Williamsburg, KY and Rebecca “Flossie” Blondin of Lakewood, CO; and a brother:  Samuel “Buddy” Adkins of DeFuniak, FL.

    She is preceded in death by 3 sisters:  June Lane and twin infants:  Nancy Anna and Betty Irene Adkins and 3 brothers:  Roger, Donald and Earl Adkins.

    Marie retired from Zeller Corporation, Defiance and had attended Dupont Church of the Brethren.

    The family will hold a private graveside service at a later date.  They ask that any memorial contributions in Marie’s name be made to Putnam County Hospice, Dupont Church of the Brethren, or the local library of your choice.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.lovefuneralhome.com.
