NEW CLEVELAND - Marilyn A. Inkrott, RN, 84 of New Cleveland, died at 2:10 a.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Mercy Health St. Rita's, Lima. She was born April 21, 1933 in Miller City to the late Rudolph and Alberta (Dulle) Lammers. On September 1, 1954 she married Karl J. Inkrott who survives in New Cleveland.
Also surviving are ten children, Dennis (Brenda) Inkrott of Monclova, Roger (Carol) Inkrott of Wooster, Martin (Carol) Inkrott of Louden, TN, Nicholas (Sharon) Inkrott of Leipsic, Michael (Rebecca) Inkrott of Clayton, Patrick (Rose) Inkrott, Pamela (Gregory) Schroeder, and Lisa (Louis) Schnipke all of New Cleveland, Julie (John) Riepenhoff of Miller City, and Brian (Kelly) Inkrott of Glandorf; forty-seven grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Paul (Barbara) Lammers of Michigan, William (Mary) Lammers of Defiance, and Nicholas (Jane McKeever) Lammers of Chicago, IL; and two sisters, Dorothy (Elmer) Meyer of New Cleveland; Sr. Joanne Lammers OSF of Tiffin; a sister-in-law, ElFriede Lammers of Indiana; a brother-in-law, Jr. Alt of Pandora; and a family friend, Sr. Sara Aldridge OSF of Tiffin.
She was also preceded in death by a grandchild; brother, Robert Lammers; and two sisters, Ruth Alt and Betty (Robert) Recker.
Marilyn was a graduate of St. Rita's School of Nursing and was a registered nurse at Putnam Acres Care Center for 20 years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, New Cleveland and its Rosary Altar Society and Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She belonged to the Red Hat Society, Golden Steppers, the Farm Bureau and was a member of St. Rita's Alumni. Marilyn enjoyed playing cards and loved going to her grandchildren's sporting events and other activities.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Cleveland with Msgr. Charles Singler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic where there will be a rosary service at 5:45 p.m. on Sunday and a scripture service at 3 p.m. on Monday.
