    CONTINENTAL – Mary Ellen Mooney, 85, of Continental died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2017 at her residence. She was born February 24, 1932 in Vansant, VA to the late Bill and Liza (Keen) Stiltner. On February 24, 1948 she married Lewis H. Mooney who died January 13, 1973.

   She is survived by seven children, Ed (Diane) Mooney of Continental, Shirley (Robert) Sanders of Defiance, Carol (Gary) Blair of Piqua, Jim (Linda) Mooney of Lima, Leonard (Sharon) Mooney of Kalida, Linda (Ronald) Smith of Continental, and Barbara Drummer of Danville, IA; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a sister. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Randall L. Blair and four brothers.

   Mary Ellen was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and telling jokes.

   Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Pastor Don Litchfield officiating. Burial will follow in North Mt. Zion Cemetery, Continental. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.  until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
