Maryann Hilburn Bermudez

   LEIPSIC - Maryann Hilburn Bermudez, 82, of Leipsic died at 12:19 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born March 5, 1936 in Poteet, TX. to the late Alejandro and Martha (Garcia) Hilburn, Sr. On July 30, 1960 she married David G. Bermudez, Sr. and he died February 7, 1994.

   She is survived by 9 children, David (Vicki) Bermudez, Jr., of Columbus, Sue Hernandez of Leipsic, Maryjane (Miguel) Rodriguez of Holland, MI, Paul (Renada) Bermudez of Dayton, Abe (Lucy) Bermudez of Leipsic, Irene (Juan) Zamora of Napoleon, Jerry (Joretta) Bermudez of Findlay, Willie (Crystal) Bermudez of North Carolina, and Alex (Angie) Bermudez of Columbus Grove;  25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Elisa Quintero and Louisa Delao.

    She was also preceded in death by a son, Danny Bermudez; an infant daughter, Margarita Bermudez; a grandson, Michael D. Bermudez; brothers, Alejandro Hilburn, Facundo Hilburn, Juan Hilburn; Jose Hilburn; and sisters, Frances Lara, Sara Obregon, Paula Hilburn, Minerva Alaniz, and Martha Hernandez.

   Maryann was a housewife and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic.

   There will be visitation from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic where there will be a Scripture Service at 1:45 p.m. and a Rosary at 7 p.m.

   There will be visitation  from 2 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at HURLEY FUNERAL HOME, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 3, 2018 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, Texas. Burial will be in Madre Dolorosa Cemetery, Poteet, TX.
