Maryann Siebeneck
NEW CLEVELAND - Maryann Siebeneck, 77, of New Cleveland, died at 8:10pm, on April 24, 2018, at her residence, surrounded by family. She was born November 14, 1940 in Cuba, OH to the late Alfred and Mary (Karhoff) Verhoff. On August 3, 1963, she married Larry Siebeneck who died July 19, 1999.
Maryann is survived by four children: Kevin (Cathy) Siebeneck of Newport, MI; Darryl (Paula) and Dean (Sharon) Siebeneck both of Glandorf; and Gene (Tracie) Siebeneck of Ottawa. Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Amber, Jacob, Austin, Logan, Tyler, Parker and Amanda Siebeneck; a sister, Darlene Verhoff of Chandler, Arizona; a brother, Leroy (Janet) Verhoff of Glandorf; and two sisters-in-law: Katie Verhoff of Ottawa, and Sharon Verhoff of Glandorf. She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Dennis, Melvin, and Gordon Verhoff; and a sister, Patricia (Eugene "Dude") Schroeder.
Maryann retired from Ohio Bank in Ottawa after 22 years. Later she worked for the Putnam County Sentinel. She was a member of the New Cleveland, Holy Family Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary.
Maryann was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt and would do anything for her grandchildren. She was blessed with four sons and always said she would eventually have daughters in her life, and she was truly an inspiration to her daughters-in-law. An avid Elvis and country music fan, she enjoyed playing cards with her friends, taking trips and participated in a local dance group. Her smile, sense of humor, kindness, love of sports and especially the love she had for her family and friends will be greatly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10: 30 a.m., Saturday, April 28 at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Cleveland with Msgr. Charles Singler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Leipsic.
