BOWIE, TEXAS- Michelle Aldrich Crabtree, 45, formerly of Melrose, passed away Monday June 12, 2017 in Bowie, Texas.
Michelle was born March 25, 1972 in Paulding, Ohio to Roger and Rowena (Foust) Aldrich. She graduated from Paulding High School. She enjoyed playing softball, doing crafts, building wood crafts, and most of all enjoying her grandchildren from afar! She was very active in the Bible Baptist Church of Bowie, and there she made an abundance of friends. She was a member of the Bowie Young Homemakers.
Michelle is survived by her husband Chuck of 17 yrs of Bowie, Texas. They were married on August 15, 1999. Also surviving are her parents Roger and Rowena Aldrich of Bowie, Texas; 2 children, Cody Fitch and AJ of Paulding, Ohio and Kylee Aldrich and Shaun of Van Wert, Ohio; 4 step children, Nickie Rhoades and Doug of Xenia, Josh Crabtree and Stephany of Columbus, Ohio, Cheryl May and Jody of Grove City, Tiffany Kelly and Josh of London, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Chandler and Aliyana of Paulding, Ohio and Roman of Van Wert, Ohio; 7 step grandchildren, Victoria, Cohen, Nicholas, Douglas, Hunter, Brody and Scarlett; a sister, Robin Fuller and Jay of Fremont Indiana; brothers, Scott Aldrich of Bowie, Texas, Brian Aldrich and BJ of Bowie, Texas; a sister-in-law, Jenelle Aldrich of Delphos, Ohio; her mother-in -law, Wilma Hall of Portsmouth, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Lloyd and Berneice Foust, Isaac and Florice Stahl, an Uncle ,Richard Foust and 2 nephews, Justin and Brandon Vogel.
The family will receive family and friends on Sunday June 18, 2017 from 2 to 8 pm and services will be on Monday June 19, 2017 at 10:00 am at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME in Oakwood Ohio with Rev. Terry Porter officiating. Burial will follow at Mt Zion Cemetery northeast of Grover Hill, Ohio.
