Oscar M. "Beatle" Gonzalez

LEIPSIC - Oscar M. "Beatle" Gonzalez, 67, of Leipsic died 10:11 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at his residence.

   He was born July 5, 1951 in Falfurrias, TX to the late Jose and Maria (Rios) Gonzalez.  On December 28, 1968, he married Linda Godoy who survives in Leipsic. 

   Survivors also include 5 children, Regina (Felix) Guerra of Leipsic, Cynthia (Lorenzo) Ramos of Nevada, TX, Oscar Mario Gonzalez, II of Leipsic, Amie Gonzalez of Leipsic, and Geronimo (Suzi) Gonzalez of Convoy; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 6 siblings, Jaime Gonzalez, Esequiel (Mary) Gonzalez, Rosaelia Gonzalez, Jose Gonzalez, Fidel Gonzalez, and Miguel Gonzalez ; 2 sisters-in-law, Rosario and Martha Gonzalez; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

   He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Benjamin Santana; and 5 siblings, Maria M. (Jorge) Lopez, Jose Reymundo Gonzalez, Maria de Jesus (Seferino) Lopez, Javier Gonzalez, and Lupita Gonzalez.

   Oscar retired from Spartech Plastic, Paulding.  He attended The Rock Church, Junction.  He loved spending time with his family and working and tinkering around with cars. 

   Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2018 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Rev. Jose Zamora officiating.  Visitation will be Monday before the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

   Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Home Health and Hospice.
