Richard L. Draper
PANDORA – Richard L. Draper, 89, of Pandora died at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at The Meadows of Leipsic. He was born February 4, 1930 in Marysville to the late Donald R. and Dorothy (Carder) Draper. On March 26, 1971 he married Ruth Beltz and she survives in Pandora.
Also surviving is a son, Mark (Denise) Draper of Pandora; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Dyer of Cridersville.
Richard was a 1948 graduate of Kenton High School. He was a truck driver for 30 years with various companies and he was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. Richard was a former member of Findlay DAV, Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association, Findlay AMVETS, Columbus Grove VFW, and the Ottawa Eagles. He enjoyed Polka music and loved making jokes with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Wounded Warriors.
