Roger L. Riepenhoff
OTTAWA - Roger L. Riepenhoff, 68, of Ottawa died at 12:52 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 28, 1950 in Lima to Thomas B. and Edna (Recker) Riepenhoff. His father is deceased, his mother survives in Glandorf. On December 13, 1980 he married Rose Wehri who survives in Ottawa.
Also surviving is a daughter, Gina Riepenhoff of Ottawa; and five siblings: Don (Ginnie) Riepenhoff and Alvin (Judy) Riepenhoff both of Glandorf, Rose Ann (Dave) Hermiller of Miller City, Joan (Denny) Karhoff of Glandorf and Linda Ellerbrock of Ottawa.
Roger was a retired truck driver for K & L Ready Mix and co-owner of the former Rose Haven Bed and Breakfast in Gilboa. He was a dedicated member of the Kalida Family Outreach Center and served as the grounds keeper. Roger enjoyed taking road trips, was a people person, a handyman and loved to entertain his family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Kalida Family Outreach Center with Pastor James Swihart officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the Kalida Family Outreach Center.
